To create the Personal Sanctuary glass mosaic tile collection, Maison Surface Atelier Patricia Braune was inspired by the human need to create an oasis. Drawing upon elemental influences such as architectural arches and adobe earthen organic construction, the collection echoes the rounded edges and shapes that have stood the test of time. Patricia’s work explores curves, shadows, reflections and lines of these elements—all of which bring us back to earth, back to nature, and back to ourselves.

Personal Sanctuary curates 12 patterns in Recycled Glass, encompassing and transcending an array of design influences and eras. The end result yields a calm sophistication through simple, complementary colorways inspired by sand, clay and water, and revealed in a soft and subtle palette of Cloud, Porcelain, Flaxen, Pumice, Latte and Parchment.
